Holy Mountain, definetly a movie that stands on its own pedastol. There isn’t anything quit like a Alejandro Jodorowsky film. Lokee hipped me to his work several years back, I was a fan from the jump. BUT, with all of that being said these movies are an experience, and its up to you as the viewer to decide what you feel about them. Alot of his work is classified under Avante Guard.
Recently, ive been seeing the influence of Holy Mountains presence in current pop culture. Florian Bertmer did a Illustration that i caught recently, and Freddie Gibbs posted up a un-official video to his Highway to Hell song using a clip from the film. Is curiosity killing the cat yet ??
